1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Bolt Build iT ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Our Service
Bolt Build iT builds modern business and corporate websites & web applications, at no initial costs, subject to our approval of our customers onboarding application.
We bill monthly, annually or as one-off, based on customer's selection of the one of our 3 available packages during their onboarding journey. The payment covers development, domain (which we will purchase for you), free hosting, SSL certificate, security patching, maintenance, unlimited business lifetime support and many more, depending on the package customer chooses during onboarding.
3. Free Trial Period
Bolt Build iT offers a 7-day free trial on all monthly and annual subscription plans. During the trial period, you will not be charged. Your card details are collected at sign-up but no charge is made until the trial period ends.
You may cancel at any time during the trial period and you will not be charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your card will be charged according to your selected billing cycle.
The 7-day free trial applies to monthly and annual billing plans only. One-off payment plans are charged at the point of checkout and are not subject to a trial period.
4. Subscription & Billing
Fees are billed on a monthly, annual, or one-off basis depending on your selected plan. All fees are charged in GBP (£) and are non-refundable except where required by law.
For monthly and annual plans, you may upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. One-off payments are a single charge covering the full website build.
In addition to the one-off build cost, one-off payment customers are required to pay a fixed annual fee of £25 towards website maintenance, data security (required by law), system upgrades, and continuous business & technical support. This recurring £25 annual fee is separate from the one-off build payment and is due each year following the launch of your website.
5. Cancellation/Termination
You may cancel your monthly or annual subscription at any time by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until the end of the period you have paid for.
One-off build payments are non-recurring and therefore do not require cancellation. However, the fixed £25 annual maintenance fee (covering website maintenance, data security, system upgrades, and continuous support) remains payable each year to keep your website active and supported. If you wish to discontinue, you may cancel the annual maintenance fee at any time by contacting us, which will take effect at the end of the current annual period.
6. Website Content & Ownership
All content you provide for your website remains your property. Upon full payment of your subscription, the website built for you is yours. You may request a copy of your website files at any time.
You are responsible for ensuring that all content you provide does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
7. Hosting & Domain
All plans, including monthly, annual, and one-off, include hosting on our servers. If you require a custom domain name, we will assist you in purchasing and configuring one. Domain registration is included with your plan at no additional cost.
For one-off payment customers, the fixed £25 annual maintenance fee covers ongoing website maintenance, data security compliance, system upgrades, and continuous business & technical support. This fee is separate from domain and hosting, which are included at no additional cost.
8. Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure
Bolt Build iT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service. We are not responsible for issues caused by third party providers or circumstances outside our control includind but not limited to technical failures, natural disasters, or third party service outages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
9. E-commerce Payment Processing
All e-commerce transactions are processed through Stripe Connect. Stripe applies a fee of £0.20 plus 1.5% per transaction, and Bolt Build iT applies a separate fee of £0.10 plus 0.5% per transaction. All applicable fees are deducted before funds are transferred to your account. We are not liable for delays or errors caused by Stripe or any other third-party payment provider.
10. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when using the Service, and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials at all times. You confirm that all content you provide is lawful and does not infringe upon the rights of any third party. You further agree not to use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
